DR. CHRISTIAN SAMUELSON

Dr. Christian Samuelson graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2002 with his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He continued his education and graduated from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2007. In 2008 he completed his Internship in General Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Samuelson then completed 3 years of Neurosurgery Residency and 2 years of Clinical Research prior to completing an Anesthesia Residency in 2016 at Louisiana State University. Following his Residency in Anesthesia, he completed an ACGME approved Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management in 2017.

 

Dr. Samuelson has practiced Interventional Pain Management in both Shreveport, Louisiana and Tyler, Texas. He holds board certifications in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He is a member of The American Society of Regional Anesthesia & Pain Management, The Society of Neuroscience in Anesthesia & Critical Care, The Foundation for Anesthesia Education & Research, The Texas Medical Association, and The Bexar County Medical Society.

In his free time, Dr. Samuelson enjoys traveling with his wife & family, snow skiing and enjoying the diverse food culture of San Antonio.
